1. Cleaning and decluttering
Remove personal items, unclutter counters, organize closets and shelves.

2. Brightening
Clean all windows in and out, replace old dated curtains (sheers are great!), update lighting fixtures, let natural light in!

3. Smart Staging
Rearrange furniture, get new accessories to enhance rooms, add artwork, play soft music in background.

4. Landscaping enhancements
Add to curb appeal in front and back by adding bark mulch, shrubs and flowers and making sure current plants and lawn is well cared for, mowed and edged.

5. Repairing Electrical and Plumbing
Fix any leaks, clean mildew stains, recaulk tubs and make sure plumbing is in good order. Fix any lights or outlets that are loose or don't work and add safety fixtures (GFCI etc). You'll likely have to fix it for the buyer anyhow, so get this out of the way so it doesn't cost you more money or a buyer!

Touch up or repaint any scuffed walls, trim or cabinets. It makes for a nice fresh well cared for appearance and isn't too expensive and really gives a lot of bang for your buck! Go with nice neutrals!! No crazy personal colors that only work for you.
